About UsInnov8 is an all girls neighborhood FTC team from Cincinnati Ohio. The team has five members, two coaches, and a mentor. As a team, we enjoy reaching out to the community, showing the robot, or learning from various professionals. Already, we've visited an Amazon warehouse and we've shown the robot at our library and the Wright Patterson Museum. At tournaments, we try to learn from and get to know our fellow teams. We've learned how to solder and how to use Solidworks, and we're always looking to learn more skills!

What is FTC?
FTC, or FIRST Tech Challenge is a robotics challenge for students, who program, design, and build a robot for competitions. Every season, FIRST releases a game manual and video, depicting what the robot must do during matches. For the 23-24 school year, robots pickup Pixels (hexagons) and score them on a backboard to form color combinations called mosaics. During the final seconds the robot can launch a paper airplane called a drone and/or hang on the Centerstage.
In autonomous, our robot detects the placement of our prop to determine which spot to drop a pixel in, then it turns and places another pixel on the backboard . Finally it parks in the backstage.
